My Story

The Spirited Cowgirl was inspired by many different elements stemming from my background in Interior Design and clothing merchandising. Most importantly, my faith, which paved my journey to where I am now.

 

After many years in a corporate environment and the retail world, I made the decision to pursue what my heart was guiding me to do, and that's when The Spirited Cowgirl began its roots. 

 

Starting with a few pairs of earrings, I just couldn't resist bringing in other pieces–yes, I'm obsessed with beautiful things, whether it be a turquoise stone or a wonderful fabric!  Each piece, some old, some new, and some that just called to me.

 

As a young girl, I was always drawn to turquoise, and I would sneak into my mother's dresser and wear her turquoise. As my life has evolved, I have a better understanding of the powerful nature of turquoise.

 

There is a reason why Native Americans were also drawn to this stone. Dating back to biblical times, turquoise was used for strength, courage, and protection. "She is clothed with strength and dignity and laughs without fear of the future." 

 

My hope is that these pieces will enhance your spirit and style and make a lasting impression on your heart. So, wear your turquoise with spirit and love in your heart.
